For The Apple Rösti:


Season the steaks with salt and pepper and roast them in the hot butter fat until almost done.

Place the steaks in an ovenproof dish and top each with a slice of ham and a slice of cheese. Sprinkle paprika on top and bake lightly in the stove over high top heat.

In the meantime, steam the apple slices in the butter of the steaks.

In a second frying pan, toast the bread pieces in butter.

Mix the apple slices and bread pieces and toast them together a little more. Extinguish with apple juice (the apple rösti must be juicy). Fry lightly on one side, perhaps add a tiny bit of butter and bring to the table together with the steaks.

Tip: Always use an aromatic ham, it will give your dish a wonderful touch!
