Apple filling:


For the apple pockets, cut the peeled apples into six parts and cut them into flakes. Mix well with the ingredients for the filling. Cut puff pastry into wide strips and add apple filling to half of the strips. Cut remaining strips several times widthwise and place on top of filled strips.

Brush the edges with egg, press down. Brush the top of the apple pockets with egg and place on baking paper. Bake quickly at 200°C for 12 minutes. Brush with jam and sugar glaze.
