The leaves of Chinese cabbage are aehnlieh those of lettuce. Both are tender with a slightly sweet taste.

Cut the Chinese cabbage into small strips with a sharp knife.

Heat the peanut oil in a preheated wok. Add the ginger, garlic and chili to the wok and stir-fry for about 30 seconds.

Add the Chinese cabbage, Chinese sherry or rice wine, soy sauce, honey and orange juice. Reduce the temperature and simmer gently for 5 minutes.

Add the sesame oil to the wok form, sprinkle the sesame seeds on top and mix everything together well.

Transfer to a warmed serving plate, garnish with the grated orange peel and bring to the table on the spot.

Much more individual in taste than mixed. Acacia honey is typically Chinese, but you can likewise use blossom clover honey, lemon blossom honey, lime blossom honey and orange blossom honey.
