Instructions:

For the cheeseburger, first prepare the burger bread. To do this, heat the milk with water, sugar, salt and butter. Add the yeast, mix with half of the flour and let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes. Then knead the remaining flour and the egg into the dough.

Roll out the dough and form round balls, place on a baking tray and sprinkle with the sesame seeds. Bake the burger bread in the preheated oven at 200°C top and bottom heat for 10 minutes and then let it cool down.

Mix the mayonnaise with the remaining ingredients and the finely chopped gherkins as well as some chili. Season to taste with a little lemon juice. For the burger patties, peel and dice the onions, mix with the mince and season with mustard, salt and pepper.

Heat a pan with a little oil, form the mince into small round loaves, flatten them a little and fry them in the pan on both sides. Cut the loaves in half and spread the mayonnaise on both sides. Put some arugula on the bottom part, put the meat on top, put the bacon and cheese on top and close with the lid. Serve the cheeseburgers immediately.
