Instructions:

Cut the white bread into slices about 1 cm thick.

For cucumber sandwiches, mix a little soft butter with a pinch of pepper and finely chopped dill. Spread one slice of bread with it and top with thinly sliced cucumber, season with a pinch of salt. Spread a second slice of bread with dill butter and place on top. Cut the sandwich crosswise.

For ham sandwiches, spread two slices of bread thinly with butter. Mix mustard and apricot jam and spread on bread. Top one slice with the ham and place the other slice of bread on top. Cut the sandwich crosswise.

For cress and egg sandwiches, butter two slices of bread.

Peel and slice the boiled eggs and top one slice of bread with them, sprinkle with cress and pepper and place the other slice of bread on top. Cut the sandwich crosswise.

For the salmon-caper sandwiches, also butter two slices of bread, sprinkle with chopped capers and dill and top with smoked salmon. Flavor with a tiny bit of juice from a lemon, if you like. Place the other slice of bread on top. Cut the sandwich crosswise.

Tip: Always use an aromatic ham, it will add a wonderful touch to your dish!
