For the plum cake, first line a baking tray with baking paper and preheat the oven to 180 °C.

Wash the plums, remove the seeds, cut into quarters and prepare.

Cream the butter, sugar and yolks, beat the whites until stiff and mix with the flour sifted with baking powder.

Spread the dough on the baking sheet and cover with quartered plums. Bake the plum cake for about 40 minutes on the middle shelf.
