For the apple crumble, mix the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt, add the butter in small pieces and rub everything together with your fingers to make loose crumbles.

Put half of the crumble in another bowl and mix with the egg. Pour this dough into the springform pan and press it down as a base. Peel the apples, remove the core and cut the apples into small cubes.

Mix the apple cubes with cinnamon, ginger, anhorn syrup, lemon juice and zest and cornstarch and spread on the base. Cover the apples with the remaining crumble.

Place the pan in the airfryer basket and bake at 180 °C for 20 minutes. Sprinkle the pistachios over the crumble and place in the airfryer again at 150 °C for 10 minutes.

The surface should be nicely browned. Enjoy the apple crumble warm or cold.
