Rinse, clean and quarter the strawberries. Rinse the remaining berries as well. Stir the jam until smooth, maybe add a little water and then gently mix with the berries in a baking dish and pull in about 20 min.
Cook waffle batter with softened butter, eggs and milk according to package directions. In an oiled, heated waffle iron, bake 6 to 7 waffles according to equipment instructions. Dust the waffles with powdered sugar and bring to the table with the berries.
