Whip egg whites until very stiff, add sugar and continue to whip until sugar is dissolved. Carefully fold in the coconut flakes or almond kernels or nuts and spices. Using two teaspoons, form small mounds on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and place in the preheated oven.
