Beat the light butter and sugar with an electric whisk until creamy. Add the eggs and beat until a uniform batter is formed. Sift flour and baking powder and fold in.

Add the lukewarm milk and continue to stir the dough. Cut the apples into small cubes and add them with the almond kernels, the cinnamon and the squeezed lemon to the dough form, mix the whole thing properly.

Preheat the waffle iron and rub it with a little butter before the first waffle. Bake the waffles in it until golden brown and bring to the table warm with vanilla cream and/or vanilla ice cream.
