For the pasta casserole with sauerkraut, cook the spirals until al dente, rinse and set aside. Wash the sauerkraut in cold water and cut through.

Finely chop the onion and cut the ham into small pieces. Mix the milk well with the eggs and flour. Mix the spirals with the sauerkraut, onions and ham and season well with salt, pepper and oregano.

Put the mixture in a baking dish and pour the milk mixture over it. Sprinkle with cheese and bake in the oven at 180 °C for about 30 – 40 minutes.
