Instructions:

Pick the sauerkraut and chop a little bit. Peel and finely dice the onions. Heat the butter and sauté the onion cubes until translucent.

Add sauerkraut and sauté briefly. Extinguish with apple cider, season and steam for about 15 minutes with the lid closed.

In the meantime, rinse and dry the meat and cut into small cubes. Heat the oil and brown the meat on all sides. Season with

salt and pepper.

Remove the peel from the potatoes, rinse and cut into thin slices. Blanch in boiling salted water for 3 minutes and then drain well.

Remove the skin from the pears, cut them into quarters, remove the core and cut the pears into narrow strips. Then arrange potatoes, meat, sauerkraut and pears

pears alternately in a greased baking dish.

Rinse the raisins, drain and sprinkle over the top. Whisk the whipped cream

and season with salt and pepper.

Pour over the gratin and sprinkle with cheese.

Bake the gratin at 200 degrees for about half an hour.
