A great cake recipe for any occasion:

Cream vanilla sugar, shortening, sugar and salt. Fold in eggs one at a time. Combine flour and baking powder, fold in in batches alternating with the whipped cream, except for 1 tablespoon.

Pour a little more than half of the batter into a piping bag without a nozzle. Stir the cocoa and the remaining whipped cream into the remaining batter and place in a second piping bag without a nozzle.

Grease a loaf pan (25 cm long) and inject both types of batter alternately lengthwise. Start with the light dough.

Bake in the preheated oven at 200 degrees (convection oven 175 degrees) for 65-70 minutes.

Cover the cake about 15 minutes before the end of the baking time.

Cool the cake on a cooling rack and turn it out of the pan. Dust with powdered sugar and cut into slices before serving.
