Instructions:

For the marzipan orange puff pastry slices, first cut the marzipan into small pieces and mix with the mixer until smooth. Add the remaining ingredients for the filling and mix well to make a homogeneous mass.

Place 4 dough slices on top of each other and roll out to a little more than 30 x 40 cm. Cover a baking tray with baking paper and place the puff pastry on it. Prick it several times with a fork. Spread the marzipan mixture on top.

Place the other two dough slices on top of each other and roll out to a square of slightly more than 25 x 25 cm. Let rest briefly, then brush with whipped cream and cut into 5 x 5 cm squares. Place on top of the filling.

Bake for half an hour at 200 °C top/bottom heat in the preheated oven.

Remove, let cool and cut into pieces. Serve the marzipan-orange puff pastry slices sprinkled with powdered sugar.
