Whisk flour and instant flour, add salt, yeast and sugar. Stir the egg into the dough. Knead the dough and meanwhile add milk and water until a tearing dough is formed.

Let the dough rise until doubled in volume, then briefly knead repeatedly. Form a large loaf or possibly 2 small ones.

In a large saucepan, bring plenty of salted water to a boil. Put the loaf in the hot water and let it rise for about 25 minutes.
