For the pumpkin seed cake, separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites until stiff. Whisk the yolks, powdered sugar and oil until foamy.

Slowly add the water. Sift flour, pumpkin seeds and baking powder and stir into the yolk mixture. Finally, fold in the beaten egg whites.

Fill the dough into a greased and floured cake pan and bake the pumpkin seed cake at 180°C for about 55 minutes.
