Remove the peel from the onion, finely dice and oil until soft.

Remove the stalks from the zucchini. Cut the zucchini into narrow slices and add to the onion form. Lightly sauté everything, stirring throughout, and then remove from the stove.

Remove the stalks from the tomatoes and mash them with a hand blender. Pass the puree through a sieve to taste.

Season the tomato puree with chilli, herbs and bouillon cube. Add the garlic clove of your choice through a press. Preheat the oven to 180 °C ad.

Place the zucchini and onion mixture alternately with the tomato sauce in a gratin dish and sprinkle with cheese.

Put the casserole in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes. A golden crust should form.

Our tip: It is best to use fresh herbs for a particularly good aroma!
