Mulled Wine with Cinnamon and Mallow

Lightly pound all spices except cinnamon and mallow in a mortar and place in a paper tea bag (the large bags for herbal tea) along with the cinnamon and mallow.

Slowly heat the red wine and, while it foams slightly, hang the spices in for about 20 minutes.

Only then stir in the sugar and then serve.
