Instructions:

For the herb dumplings, heat the milk, stir in the butter and add the flour. Stir the dough over the heat until it separates from the bottom.

Remove the dough from the heat and stir in the eggs and herbs. Season to taste with salt. Pipe dumplings onto a baking sheet. Bake in the oven at 180 °C for 20 minutes.

Do not open the oven during this time. Serve the finished herb dumplings as a soup garnish.
