Instructions:

For the baked apple wedges, whisk together flour, milk and salt until a dough forms. Whisk in egg and rum.

Peel apples, cut away core and cut into slices about 1 cm thick. Heat margarine in a pan.

Pull slices through the batter, fry in the pan and drain on kitchen paper.

Sprinkle with sugar and serve the baked apple slices immediately.
