Roughly dice the marzipan paste and blend with the whipped cream, amaretto and eggs using a hand blender. Put the mixture into a saucepan and whisk until just before the boiling point. 3.

Spread the mixture evenly over the strawberries and bake under the broiler on the 2nd rack from the bottom for 2 to 4 minutes.

Let brown on the 2nd rack from the bottom for 2 to 4 minutes. Chop the pistachios and sprinkle over the top before serving.
