Marzipan Grape Muffins

For the marzipan grape muffins, first wash the grapes, pluck them from the stems and pat dry. Cut (chop) raw marzipan into very small cubes.

Place a baking rack in the center of the oven and preheat the oven/upper-lower heat to 180 °C. Have a muffin tray ready and place a paper cup in each well. Prepare the ingredients and weigh them.

Combine flour and baking powder and sift through a fine mesh sieve. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, almonds, sugar and vanilla sugar in a mixing bowl. Add oil, milk and eggs. Mix briefly and well with an electric hand mixer or food processor.

Finally, briefly fold in marzipan cubes into the dough. Divide the batter into the individual muffin tins using 2 tablespoons (fill the tins only 2/3 full).

Press the grapes completely into the batter. Smooth the surface of the marzipan grape muffins. Bake the marzipan grape muffins for about 25-30 minutes. Test them with chopsticks.

Sprinkle with cinnamon and powdered sugar to taste.
