Instructions:

For the Oreo Strawberry Cake, set aside a few Oreos for decoration at the beginning. For the base, finely crumble the whole Oreo cookies, and put the crumbs in a bowl (save some for the 2nd cream – give extra).

Warm the butter and mix it with the Oreo crumbs. Line a cake pan with baking paper and pour the mixture into the springform pan. Press evenly around the edges and bottom.

Bake in the oven at 180 °C for about 10 minutes. (Alternatively – place the base in the freezer and allow to set).

For the strawberry cream, soak the gelatine. Mix the natural yogurt with the pureed strawberries, vanilla sugar and powdered sugar. Warm the gelatin, add some of the cream, stir well until smooth.

Mix the complete gelatin mixture into the strawberry cream. Spread on the Oreo base and chill. Now mix the 2nd cream. To do this, whip the whipped cream until creamy. Whip the curd until smooth. Fold the whipped cream into the curd.

Set aside part of the cream for the decoration. Now carefully fold the leftover Oreo into the cream. and spread on the 1st cream. Possibly let cool/solidify a bit before decorating the cake.

Using the leftover cream from the 2nd cream, place dots on the top of the cake and top with a cocktail cherry. Cut the Oreo cookies set aside at the beginning in half and stick them between the dots in the cream.

Chill in the refrigerator.
