For the polenta skewers with figs and salmon ham, bring skimmed milk to the boil, season with salt and pepper, add polenta and simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese.Spread the mixture to a height of 2-3 cm on a baking tray lined with baking paper and allow to cool.In the meantime, cut the figs into 6 wedges each, roll up each slice of salmon ham, cover with a sage leaf, fix with a toothpick and stick into a wedge of figs.Cut the polenta into 24 pieces with a knife or a pizza roller. Place a toothpick with a fig slice and a salmon ham roll on each polenta slice and arrange the polenta skewers decoratively on a platter.
