For the figs with goat cheese, mix all ingredients well with a whisk. Wash the figs and cut them crosswise at the stem end. Do not cut all the way to the bottom.

Unfold the figs like flowers and place in an ovenproof dish. Shred the prosciutto and goat cheese and spread over the figs along with the dressing.

Preheat the grill function in the oven to 200 degrees and bake the figs until the cheese starts to melt.

Before serving, tear the basil leaves and place them over the baked figs with goat cheese.
