For the oatmeal biscuits, toast the oatmeal and chopped nuts in a pan without oil until golden brown and then allow to cool.

Beat the egg whites until firm and gradually add the sugar while stirring. Carefully fold in the oat flakes and the nuts.

Use two spoons to place small heaps on a baking tray and bake the oatmeal cookies at 150 °C in a preheated oven for about 20 minutes.
