For the Hermann cake, mix all the ingredients for the Hermann dough sensitively and well together.

The recipe for the Hermann dough batch can be found here. The dough batch must be ready by including the first part of the 10th day. The part used here is the same as the 4th unit described in the dough batch recipe before adding ingredients again, however, a third of the batch is used here for this recipe (instead of just a quarter), meaning the dough is only divided into 3 parts, one of which is used.

Place the dough in a well greased or parchment paper lined large loaf pan.

Bake the Hermann at about 180 °C for about 45 to 60 minutes.

This amount of dough for the Hermann cake can also be filled into small paper molds (or muffin tins) and baked at about 180 °C for about 15 to 20 minutes.
