A cake recipe for all foodies:
Prepare a yeast dough from the ingredients from flour to salt and put it on the greased tray. Let the milk, butter and semolina boil and swell for 5 minutes, then mix with the poppy seeds, sugar, egg, rum and cinnamon.
Mix the curd cheese with the milk, egg yolks, sugar and vanilla sugar. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold them in.
Stir the jam with the rum.
Mix the flour with the sugar, vanilla sugar and butter and grind into crumbles.
Spread blobs of the poppy seed mixture, the curd cheese and the jam evenly on the yeast dough. Add the crumbles on top.
Allow to rise for 15 minutes. Preheat the oven to 200 °C. Bake for 30 minutes.
