A cake recipe for all foodies:

This recipe comes from the Pueblo of Tesuque. The cookie, cake and dessert recipes of the Pueblo Indians are all very similar: Kukuruz, pine nuts, pumpkin are the main ingredients. Cook pumpkin cubes in salted water for about 20 minutes.

Preheat oven to 200 °C, grease a large baking tray.

Scrape the pulp from the vanilla pod. In a large bowl, mix the sugar with the butter, add the cooked pumpkin, the vanilla pulp and the beaten eggs and mix until smooth.

New spice, flour, baking powder, nutmeg and salt in another baking bowl form.

On top of it, pour the contents of this baking bowl leisurely in the farling with the pumpkin mixture and mix the whole well together. Finally, add the walnuts and raisins to the mixture.

Form into a piping bag (with not too small opening) and squirt about two-mark-sized heaps onto the greased baking tray. Bake the cookies in a heated oven on the middle shelf for about a quarter of an hour, until they are golden brown.

If you wish, you can brush the cookies with egg yolk and press half a walnut kernel into each one: this makes them more decorative and makes them taste even more aromatic.
