For the festive dumplings from the steamer, cut the bread rolls into cubes. Pour the beaten eggs over the bread cubes. Let rest for about 5 minutes and then stir in the sour cream, chives, pepper and salt.

Grease a perforated steamer basket, form dumplings and cook at 100°C for about 18 minutes. Place a drainer under the dumpling container. Serve the festive dumplings.
