For the Tyrolean bacon dumplings, mix eggs with milk, salt and pour over the bread cubes. Finely chop the smoked meat and bacon, cut the onions into small cubes and fry them in heated butter and pour everything over the bread dice mixture.

Chop chives finely, sprinkle on top and mix. Form into dumplings with wet hands and cook in boiling salted water for about 12 minutes.

For the mushroom sauce, sauté the mushrooms and the diced onion and deglaze with whipping cream and milk. Add soup, salt, pepper and herbs.

Pour the sauce into a soup plate and serve with the Tiorler bacon dumplings.
