Roast beef:Brown the beef in hot fat all around, add vegetables and spices except for milk and whipped cream and simmer. When the meat is cooked, sieve the sauce and add the milk and cream. Serve with the famous Prague napkin dumplings.
Napkin dumplings:Fry finely chopped onion in butter until translucent and pour over bread cubes. Separate the eggs. Mix yolks, milk, parsley and spices and pour over the bread cubes, mix well and let rest for at least 20 minutes. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into the bread dice mixture. Grease a napkin or aluminum foil and spread the mixture on it and roll it up, tying the ends well. Simmer in enough salted water for about 25-30 minutes. Remove napkin roll from hot water, briefly quench with cold water. Carefully detach from napkin or foil. Cut into slices about 1 cm thick and arrange.
