Instructions:

For the coconut germ plait, first prepare the yeast dough. For the yeast dough, mix the dry yeast with the flour. Warm the coconut milk a little.

Knead flour, coconut milk, soft butter, eggs, sugar and salt into a dough. Let rise for about one hour.

For the cream, make a pudding with the pudding powder and coconut milk and stir in the coconut. Knead the dough and roll out into a rectangle.

Spread with the custard mixture and roll up. Divide in half and intertwine the two strands. Let rise for 10 minutes.

Brush with egg yolk and sprinkle with hail sugar and bake the coconut germ plait at 180 °C for approx. 25 minutes.
