For the milk plait dissolve warm milk, salt, the whole eggs, yeast and sugar. Add the flour and finally knead in the melted butter. Also add the raisins shaken in flour.

Cover the dough and let it rest for half an hour. Turn out onto a pasta board and press from the inside out. Turn the corners inward.

Let rest again in the dough bowl. After half an hour, repeat the same procedure. Then form 6 balls from the dough, cover and let rise for another 15 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 150°. Braid the balls into two plaits, place them on a baking tray and let them rest again.

Brush with yolk-milk mixture and top with hail sugar or almonds. Bake the milk plait for 30 minutes at 150°.
