For the cherry cake with sour cream, preheat the oven to 175 degrees and grease a deep baking tray.

Beat the eggs, butter, vanilla sugar and sugar until fluffy and mix in the sour cream and amaretto. Mix flour, baking powder and salt and fold into the dough. Spread the dough on the baking sheet and top with the cherries. Bake for about 45 minutes at 175 degrees.
