For the cabbage fritters with bacon, cut the cabbage head into strips or cubes.
Heat oil in a pot, dissolve sugar in it, add chopped onion and diced bacon, sauté lightly, then add cabbage and sauté.
Season with salt, pepper and caraway and let it steam for about 30 minutes. If necessary, add 1-2 tablespoons of water. Season to taste with vinegar.
