For the bacon dumplings boil potatoes, rinse, peel and press. Knead with melted butter, flour, yolk, salt and nutmeg to a dough.
Peel and dice onion and sauté in a little butter. Peel and press garlic. Dice bacon and knead with onions, parsley, salt, pepper, garlic to a homogeneous mass.
Form balls, cool and then cover with dough. Simmer in boiling salted water for 5 minutes until bacon dumplings float to the top.
