Instructions:

For a waxy egg, bring water to a boil in a saucepan.

Once the water boils, slide the egg into the water using a spoon and boil for 5-6 minutes.

Lift egg out of water and immediately quench in ice water (or under very cold tap water).

Peel waxy egg as desired or serve in egg cup.
