For the family: microwave recipe Leeks cook well in the microwave, because they do not overcook so quickly and remain relatively crisp.

Cut the leeks lengthwise and rinse thoroughly. Remove the inner leaves. Cut the ham into narrow strips, fill half of the leeks with it, cover with the rest. Finely dice the onion, cut the inside of the leeks into fine rings, coarsely dice the tomatoes. Heat the fat in the microwave until hot (1/2 minute at 600 watts). Saute the onion and leek rings in the fat for 1 1/2 min until soft, then add the diced tomatoes and vegetable soup. Cook for 3 minutes at 600 watts. Blend the sauce with a hand blender, add the flour and cook for another 2 min in the microwave. Season with salt, bell pepper and paprika powder. Grease an ovenproof dish and pour the sauce into it.

Place the leeks in the sauce and gratinate in the microwave for 21 min at 600 watts. Serve with cooked, peeled potatoes.

If you want to cook the leeks in the oven: fill the leeks, put them with the Paradeiser sauce into the preheated oven form and cook for half an hour at 180 °C (gas level 2) au gratin.

Tip: Always use an aromatic ham, it will give your dish a wonderful touch!
