For stuffed dumplings with minced meat (sambusak), first fry onion, garlic and pepperoni with olive oil in a pot until hot, add minced meat and continue to fry. Add strained tomatoes, season with dry spices and simmer for 15 minutes. Finish with fresh herbs.

Mix flour with salt. Dissolve yeast in water and add to flour with butter. Knead into a smooth dough and let rise covered for 45-60 minutes.

Form small balls from the dough and roll out 12 pieces 14-16 cm in diameter. Place a tablespoon of filling in the center, fold and press the edges together. Bake in the preheated oven at 200 °C top/bottom heat on the middle rack for 15 to 20 minutes.

Serve the filled dumplings with minced meat (sambusak) immediately.
