For the grandma’s soup, whisk egg and a little milk, add spices of your choice and fold in the bread cubes. Allow the mixture to infuse.

Heat the fat in a frying pan and add the bread mixture. Cut into bite-sized pieces with a spatula and fry until crispy.

Drain on paper towels, spread on plates and serve with beef broth.
