Whisk milk well with eggs and pinch of salt. Whisk in flour very quickly to make it a little fluffy.

Cut apples into eighths and then into fine slices.

Heat plenty of oil in a frying pan. Add the apple flakes to the pan. Sprinkle sugar on top and let it caramelize slightly. Stir frequently.

Whisk batter again firmly to make it a little fluffy and pour over apples.

Turn down heat and cover and let set. Cut into quarters and turn. Cover again and let stand.

Divide into bite-sized pieces and serve. Sprinkle with a little powdered sugar if you like (maybe some cinnamon).
