Instructions:

For the potato and kohlrabi casserole, first preheat the oven to 180 degrees convection. Peel the kohlrabi and potatoes and cut into thin slices.

Finely dice the onion and cut the spring onion into rings. Also dice the ham. In a bowl, mix kefir, cream and the eggs, and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Grease the baking dish.

Spread some of the sliced onion on the bottom. Then put a layer of potatoes and kohlrabi on top. Then another layer of potatoes and kohlrabi.

For the 3rd layer, again add the sliced onion (green onion). Then spread the sliced ham , 1 part of grated cheese and oatmeal on top. Then add the remaining potatoes and kohlrabi on top.

Spread the kefir cream mixture over the casserole. Finally, sprinkle the remaining cheese and oatmeal on top. Place casserole dish in oven for about 60 minutes, or until cheese is brown. Then remove from oven and let cool.

At the very end, sprinkle with freshly chopped green onion.
