Mix dumpling bread with all ingredients (without the liver) and rest with the lid closed for about 1/2 hour so that the moisture soaks through properly. The whole then mixed with the liver gives the dumpling mass. Now it depends on the consistency of the dough. Add a little breadcrumbs if necessary. Form dumplings and make in slightly simmering water about 20 minutes.
