A simple but delicious cake recipe:
Combine all ingredients for the dough in a large enough bowl and knead together to form a smooth, pliable dough. Roll out on a lightly floured surface to the thickness of the back of a knife. Using a cookie cutter, cut out taler shapes. Place on a greased baking tray. Place in oven heated to 175 °C and bake for ten minutes until golden brown. Cool and coat with the soft nougat mixture, not too thinly. Place two desserts on top of each other. Coat the surface with nougat and decorate with pistachios.
