Instructions:

For the false cranberry jam, boil red wine with the granulated sugar. Reduce to a simmer for 20 minutes, add the jelling sugar and the currants.

Cook on low heat for 10 minutes, always shaking the pot and not stirring, so that the currants remain whole.(like cranberries).

Then pour into clean jars and seal immediately.
