Mix well sugar, butter, salt, milk, cottage cheese and breadcrumbs, add the flour, rest the dough for ten minutes.

Form small dumplings, put them into boiling salted water and simmer at low heat until they float to the top. Roll the finished dumplings in butter crumbs and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar. Serve with plum or cherry compote.
