In a cooking bowl, mix the cottage cheese with softened butter (1).
Mix the cheese mixture with wheat flour, salt and egg yolks.
Beat the remaining egg whites until stiff and stir them into the dough.
Form walnut-sized dumplings, which are cooked in boiling, lightly salted tap water.
When the dumplings rise to the surface of the water, carefully remove with a ladle and let drain.
Fry breadcrumbs in a frying pan with butter (2). In it on the other side turn the gnocchi.
Put them hot on the table. Drizzle the surface with a little bit of sour cream.
