Instructions:

For the cinnamon buns, first prepare the yeast dough. To do this, melt the yeast in the lukewarm milk and mix with sugar, butter, flour, eggs and salt and knead intensively until the dough separates from the edge of the kettle.

Put the dough in a large bowl and let it rise, covered with a kitchen towel, in a warm place until it doubles in size. Next, knead it again, let it rest for a short time and then roll it out into a rectangle.

For the filling, mix all ingredients until smooth and spread evenly on the rolled out dough. Then roll up the dough widthwise and cut into 3 cm wide slices.

Place 6 snails on each of the parchment paper-lined baking sheets and bake them in the oven heated to 200 °C top/bottom heat for about 25 minutes. (Bake at 180 °C convection oven for about 20 minutes).

For the glaze, mix the powdered sugar and lemon juice to make a glaze and brush onto the cinnamon buns while they are still lukewarm.
