For the pancakes ship first melt the butter and let cool. Beat the egg, mix with butter and buttermilk.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt. Mix the two mixtures together until smooth.
Melt some butter in a skillet and fry the pancakes in batches in it on both sides.
For the ship, split one pancake in half, for the smokestack, cut a piece from the other half and place on the plate above the boat.
For the sea, scatter the blueberries on the plate below the boat.
Cut the banana in half lengthwise, place a small piece on top of the chimney. Slice strawberries and place decoratively on the boat as “portholes”.
Whip the whipped cream until stiff, pour into a baking paper stanitzel or a plastic bag and cut a small hole in one corner of the bag. Use the whipped cream to pipe on the steam.
Serve the pancakes ship immediately.
